🔆Services

SolarX provides professional solar panel cleaning and related services to residential and commercial properties throughout Southern California. Our services include:

• Solar Panel Cleaning — pure water + soft brush cleaning to restore panels to peak efficiency. No chemicals or pressure washing.
• Gutter Cleaning — full gutter cleanout as an add-on to any solar cleaning booking ($79 flat fee).
• Roof Cleaning — full roof wash to remove moss, algae, leaves, and debris ($99 flat fee).
• Bird Guard Installation — heavy-duty galvanized steel mesh barrier around solar panels to prevent bird nesting ($149 base + $17 per panel).

All services are performed by trained SolarX technicians who carry appropriate insurance coverage.

📅Booking & Scheduling

All bookings are made through our website at solarx.care. By placing a booking, you are requesting a service appointment at the date and time selected during checkout.

• Appointments are available on weekends only (Saturday and Sunday), with four time slots per day: 7:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 4:00 PM.
• A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking.
• You do not need to be home during the service, but you must ensure our team has clear and safe access to the roof.

💰Pricing & Payment

Our base pricing for solar panel cleaning starts at $149 + $11.11 per panel. Additional fees may apply based on your property:

• Panel count adjustment — if the actual panel count on service day differs from what was entered during booking, the price will be adjusted accordingly on-site.
• Supplementary fees — roof height, steepness, travel distance, and water supply may result in additional charges calculated during checkout.
• Add-on services — gutter cleaning, roof cleaning, and bird guard installation are priced separately and added to your total.

Payment is collected at the time of booking via credit card, debit card, or Cash App through our secure payment processor, Stripe. SolarX does not store your raw card data.

🔄Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand plans change. Here are our policies:

• Rescheduling — you may reschedule your appointment at no charge, up to 2 days before your scheduled service date. Within 2 days of the appointment, rescheduling is locked. Please contact us at office@solarx.care for assistance.
• Maximum reschedules — each booking may be rescheduled up to 3 times.
• Cancellations — cancellation requests should be sent to office@solarx.care. Refund eligibility depends on timing and circumstances.
• Weather — if unsafe weather conditions prevent us from completing your service, we will reschedule at no additional cost. We do not reschedule due to rain alone, as rain does not affect our cleaning results.

🏠Property Access & Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a safe and efficient service, you agree to:

• Provide clear and safe access to your roof and solar panels on the day of service.
• Inform us of any gate codes, locked access points, or special entry instructions before the appointment.
• Secure all pets that may interfere with roof or property access.
• Disclose any known hazards such as loose tiles, structural damage, wasp nests, or electrical issues.
• Ensure a working water source (hose bib) is available on-site, unless you have selected SolarX water supply during booking.

If our team arrives and cannot safely access the property or roof, the appointment may be canceled or rescheduled, and cancellation fees may apply.

🛡️90-Day Warranty

SolarX provides a 90-day warranty on all solar panel cleaning services. This warranty covers:

• Workmanship — any damage directly caused by our team during the service will be addressed and repaired at our expense.
• If an issue arises within 90 days that is related to our work, contact us and we will make it right.

The warranty does not cover natural re-soiling from weather, birds, dust, or environmental factors. It also does not cover pre-existing damage to panels, wiring, or roof materials.

⚖️Liability & Limitation

SolarX carries general liability insurance for all services performed. However:

• We are not liable for pre-existing damage to solar panels, roof materials, electrical wiring, or gutters that existed prior to our service.
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
• We are not responsible for energy output fluctuations caused by factors outside our control, including weather, inverter issues, grid outages, or panel age/degradation.
• By booking a service, you acknowledge that roof work inherently involves some risk and that SolarX takes all reasonable safety precautions.

📜California Right to Cancel

Under California Business and Professions Code Section 7159, if a home improvement contract is signed at your home, you have the right to cancel the contract within 3 business days of signing. For customers age 65 and older, this right extends to 5 business days.

Since SolarX bookings are placed online (not at your home), this right may not apply to all transactions. However, we honor reasonable cancellation requests made in good faith. Contact us at office@solarx.care to discuss your options.

🔒Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to the practices described in that policy.

⚙️Modifications to These Terms

SolarX reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

🏛️Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Los Angeles County, California.
